Getafe picked up their third Primera Division victory of the season after comfortably seeing off promoted Hercules.

First-half goals from Dani Parejo and Manu del Moral set Getafe on their way and substitute Miku added a third late on to seal a convincing win for Michel's side, who also hit the woodwork twice.
Hercules, who have caused two huge upsets this season with wins over Barcelona and Sevilla, could have no complaints about the result and a disappointing afternoon for them was complete when they had Abel Aguilar sent off in the 89th minute.

Getafe were soundly beaten by Malaga in their previous home match but the Azulones were on top from the first minute onwards today.

Captain Manu drew a good save from Juan Calatayud in the second minute and soon after that impressive Parejo clipped the crossbar with a rising shot.

It was no surprise, therefore, to see Getafe take the lead in the 21st minute, Parejo stealing into the six-yard box unchecked to head home Victor Sanchez's floated cross.

Getafe striker Adrian Colunga drove another opening into the side-netting before the hosts doubled their lead in the 43rd minute when Parejo played in Manu, who drilled in a low shot.
The second half continued with Getafe looking much the more dangerous side and Parejo and Sanchez were both denied by good saves from Calatayud.

Hercules became more of a threat later on following the introduction of fit-again striker Nelson Valdez, but they could find no way through and Getafe sealed the points in the 82nd minute with a breakaway goal.
